Why study this subject?

The subject seeks to develop students' knowledge and understanding of, and skills application in, designing products.  Students will also develop their research, analysis, product development, project planning and evaluation skills. Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of equipment throughout the Design & Technology department.  This includes CAD and CAm equipment such as specialist software and laser cutters.
