Easton College Gym membership offer - age 12+

Help your young person trade screen time for strength and wellness
Easton College are launching an exciting new offer for young people of high‑school age to come and work out in our beautifully refurbished fitness suite — and to do so alongside their grown‑ups. If you’ve been looking for a way to help your child stay active, build confidence, and develop healthy habits that last a lifetime, this could be the perfect opportunity.
In Summer 2024, the Sports Centre at Easton College enjoyed a transformative £1.7 million refurbishment, including a major upgrade to our fitness facilities. We now offer a resistance room packed with strength-training equipment, a cardio suite with modern machines, a versatile functional fitness space, and a bright, airy dance studio perfect for classes, stretching, or movement sessions. The result is a welcoming environment suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
With most gyms across the city only offering membership to over‑16s, Easton College wanted to create something different — something that supports families, not just individuals. That’s why we’ve developed a unique offer for under‑16s to work out with their grown‑ups in our fantastic new spaces. This means young people can benefit from safe, supervised activity, guided by trained staff, while enjoying all the important physical and mental health rewards of regular exercise.
Physical benefits for young people
• Stronger muscles and bones
• A solid foundation for long‑term growth and reduced injury risk
• Improved athletic performance, including speed, agility, and coordination
• Healthy habits formed early, encouraging lifelong wellness
Mental health benefits
• Boosted confidence and emotional resilience
• Reduced stress and anxiety
• Enhanced concentration and improved academic performance
• A positive and healthy body image
In a world where screen time is on the rise and physical activity levels are falling, this kind of shared exercise time can make a huge difference. Working out together doesn’t just improve fitness — it strengthens connection, encourages motivation, and helps children see exercise as something enjoyable rather than a chore.
You and a young person aged 12+ (maximum 2 young people per grown up) can become members and enjoy our newly refurbished facilities together following a free induction. The gym is open before and after school, as well as at weekends and during school holidays, giving families plenty of flexibility. Whether your young person wants to burn off energy before school, build strength for sport, or simply feel better in their own skin, our team are here to support them.
