The annual Parliament week has come around again. This year we have given you a programme that you could use as a Form Tutor each year from year 7 to 11. 

There are 5 topics, each with a short video and some questions. Year 7 should do only topic 1.  Year 8 can do topics 1 and 2.  Year 9 can do topics 1-3 etc.

Every powerpoint has guidance in the notes section to help with the content, if needed.

The 2025 Year 10 Science Camp will take place at the John Innes Centre from Monday 7 July until Friday 11 July. We will open applications on 9 November 2024.

• Applications for 2025 will close on Friday 10 January 2025

As part of Year 10 Science Camp, students will explore how some of the world’s best plant and microbial scientists work on their research and learn about all the ways in which the science of today is the reality of tomorrow.

Find out how you too can become a scientist to investigate mysteries and change the world. For example, in 2014 our Year 10 Science Camp students helped identify a new fungus.

This course is non-residential and you will need to arrange your own transportation for each day. Travel bursaries are available for those who receive free school meals.

Youth STEMM Award

Young people who are selected to take part in the Year 10 Science Camp will also have the opportunity to complete a Youth STEMM Award via a fully funded place on the programme.
