    Notre Dame High School 2017

    The whole community congratulated our Y11 and VI Form students from the class of 2017 on their excellent achievements. And especial mention of this was made in the Prize Evening in December 2017.

     

    1. GCSE 2017 – the 3 main measures for 198 GCSE students

    1a. Basics – English and Maths
     

    *     % achieving a Grade 4 ‘Standard Pass’ GCSE English and Maths – 87% v National 63%
    *     % achieving a Grade 5 ‘Good pass’ GCSE English and Maths – 57% v National 42%
    *     % entered for the English Baccalaureate – 63% v National 3%
    *     % achieving the English Baccalaureate Grade 4+ – 34% v National 24% [Entering 63%]
    *     % achieving the English Baccalaureate Grade 5+ – 31% v National 25%

    1b. Attainment 8

    *     Average Attainment 8 score: 53 v National 46
    *     Pupil Premium: 44 v Disadvantaged Nationals All 46 / Other 49
    1c. Progress 8

    *     Progress 8: 0.44 [above average] [National is 0 (benchmark -0.03)]

    2. A Level 2017
