     Results Information 2019

    A-level

    A-level results will be released to students on

    15th August 2019

    from the Dining Hall at 08.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.

    and the Exams Office at 10.00 a.m. to 15.30 p.m.

    UCAS clearing process

    8.15 a.m. in Room M24. Advice on UCAS clearing and adjust processes – Mr Harper.

    Computers will be available for students in M24.

    If you are concerned about your results:

    Advice and Guidance will be available from Thursday 15th August from 8.30-1pm and 1.30-4pm on the 1st floor of St. Mary’s. (Please note there will be no one available from 1-1.30.)     

    Careers support will be available on the day to help.

     

    GCSE

    GCSE Results will be released to students on

    22nd August 2019

    from St. John's Hall at 09.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

    and the Exams Office at 11.00 a.m. to 15.30 p.m.

    The key criteria for NDHS Sixth Form entry is 39 points overall from the best 8 GCSE scores including a Grade 4 or above in English Language and Mathematics, along with any subject specific requirements.  Remember that for Science you will receive two or three grades.

    What now?

    If you have applied to Notre Dame Sixth Form and have the points required for entry (plus any subject specific entry requirements) then you simply need to hand in your enrolment form in the library on the 1st floor of St Mary’s and have your ID photo taken in the canteen.

    If you have applied to Notre Dame Sixth Form and have the points entry, but require any advice or guidance then appointments are available on reults day by booking an appointment with the 6th Form team on the top floor of St Mary’s building. Please note there will be no one available from 1-1.30.

    If you have applied to Notre Dame Sixth Form but unfortunately do not have the points required, then you will need to collect an information sheet from the box in the Hall to help you make your future choices.

    If you have not applied to Notre Dame Sixth Form, then we wish you good luck in your future.  Please check the enrolment procedure for your new college / Sixth Form.

    Thursday 22nd August is also the deadline for enrolment to the 6th Form so please ensure you hand in your form.

    Friday 23rd August please note the main school reception will be closed.  Please contact the Sixth Form direct on 01603 753761 with any queries between 08.30-1pm.

    Careers support will be available on the day to help.

     

    Unable to collect your results?

    If you are unable to collect your results in person, you can nominate someone else to collect them on your behelf, or we can post them to you.  Please download this form to confirm your authorisation. This should be completed and returned to us before the end of term, either in person, by post, or emailed to exams@ndhs.org.uk. Please note - we will not give your results to anyone else if we have not had your prior written authorisation.  Any results that are not collected on the day will be posted home, using first class post.

    n.b. As 22nd August is also Sixth Form Enrolment Day, Year 11 NDHS students who are unable to collect their results but are intending to enrol in our Sixth Form should make contact with the Sixth Form Office before the end of term to make enrolment arrangements.

     

    Reviews of Results/Access to Scripts

    Forms, processing & advice for these services will be available from the Exams Office as follows:

    Thursday 15th August  8.30-4pm (Year 13)

    Friday 16th August 9.30-11.30 (Year 13) Please call 01603 753756 to gain access to the office

    Wednesday 21st August 11am-4pm (Year 13)

    Thursday 22nd August 10am-4pm

    Out of these hours, only Year 13 students applying for university places requiring the priority service, should email Mrs Thompson at exams@ndhs.org.uk    Deadline is 12pm on 22nd August
